Pretty good for the price
My first nice watch in the early 1980's was a quartz integrated bracelet and I wanted to add one to my collection. This watch fit the bill. The service experience was great; easy order and timely delivery. Watch arrived without any issues. With respect to the watch, overall, it's an OK deal. PROS: the Cobalt is an economical substitute for a Seiko PRX. Sapphire crystal, hacking and 100M water resistance are all plusses. The 42mm case lug to lug fits my 7.25 inch wrist with the bracelet articulation not stiff at the case, which can be an issue on some integrated bracelets. Dial finishing is excellent for the price range with the textured blue, applied markers and minute hand extending all the way to the chapter ring. CONS: the bracelet finishing falls a bit short with sharp edges and some marring on the brushed finish. The date window alignment is a bit off, not centered and high. Lume is weak but, considering how one really uses this watch, I would not consider this a big deal. RECOMMENDATIONS: though this is not a sport watch, a good upgrade would be a screw down crown and a power reserve indicator would set the watch apart from its competitors in the same price range. Overall, I am happy with the purchase after wearing the watch for a month.
Bought the skeleton avantian so went back for more as I was so happy. Another quality watch, I love the strap! Some of the promotional photos of this one make it look more of a royal blue, but it's more muted...not quite a navy, but not as blue as pictured. Really a quality watch all the same!
